How are Hive Scratchit results verified?

Each card result is derived from public transaction data and SHA-256 hashes. The Verify page lists the seed, transaction ID, block number, and outcome check.

Can players reproduce the outcome check?

Yes. The card ID opens the same verification data used by the app so the seed, win check, and prize calculation can be reproduced independently.

Every scratch card outcome is determined by a SHA-256 hash derived from your transaction data. You can reproduce the calculation to confirm the result was fair.

A seed is generated from the transaction ID, account name, and block number
The seed is hashed with "win_check" and compared against the win probability
If winning, the prize amount is derived from hashing the seed with "prize_amount"
All inputs are on the public blockchain, so anyone can verify

Win or lose is determined immediately using a cryptographic hash of your transaction data. No waiting, no draws. Winners are paid out automatically.

Every outcome is derived from a deterministic SHA-256 hash. The inputs are all on-chain, so results can be independently verified by anyone.

Refunds

If you send the wrong amount or use an invalid memo format, you get an automatic full refund via blockchain transfer.
